According to information, two important primary processing units — ELD-4 and ELD-5, each capable of processing 70,000 barrels per day, as well as some secondary units, were damaged as a result of the attack.
It was reported that on the night of August 28, the Afipsky refinery in the Krasnodar region and the Kuybyshev refinery in the Samara region were attacked in Russia. This information is provided by 'Glavcom' citing Exilenova+.
The Kuybyshev refinery has a total capacity of 7 million tons per year. The plant resumed operations only a week ago after repairs, but halted again due to the attack.
