Ternopil: DNA expertiza identified another victim of the Russian missile attack.
According to ТСН: Law enforcement has identified another victim of the Russian attack in Ternopil, who was considered missing, thanks to DNA expertiza. The deceased was a 73-year-old man living on Stus Street.
The Main Department of the National Police in Ternopil Region reports:
“As of November 28, 35 people have died as a result of the missile strike, including 7 children. 5 persons are considered missing, including 1 child.”
Investigative actions are ongoing.
Details of the attack
Recall that Russian troops struck Ternopil on the night of November 19. During the shelling, a hit was recorded in one of the high-rise buildings in the city.
Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko noted that as a result of this attack, 19 people died, including three children.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that for the attacks on high-rise buildings in Ternopil, the Russian terrorist army used X-101 cruise missiles, which contain components manufactured in the USA, China, Taiwan, Germany, the Netherlands, and other countries.
This tragedy has become another testimony of the horrific consequences of the war for the civilian population of Ukraine. The attack on residential buildings has caused numerous casualties among peaceful people and highlighted the threats that the country faces daily. Against the backdrop of increasing casualties, investigators and law enforcement continue their work to clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy.
