Hungary promised to 'help' Trump in the quickest possible end to the war in Ukraine.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated that Hungary is prepared to assist newly elected US President Donald Trump in swiftly ending the war in Ukraine. According to him, the situation at the front is becoming increasingly critical, and the presidential elections in the US have heightened the threat of escalation.
Szijjarto noted that the issue of the war in Ukraine was one of the key points during the presidential campaign. Trump expressed interest in a quick resolution to this conflict, while Harris, a likely Democratic candidate, supported the continuation of the war. The Hungarian minister stated that his country will make every effort to fulfill Trump's goal of ending this conflict.
Szijjarto warns that if the war is not concluded, the threat of escalation will increase with each passing day.
