Uklon announces the launch of a new transportation format: where the first routes will go.
Uklon is considering the possibility of launching bus transportation in its application, announced the company's co-founder Serhiy Smus.
According to him, the company is exploring the bus transportation sector and finds it an interesting area for development. Uklon's goal is to create a marketplace for bus carriers, where users can choose companies based on ratings and reviews.
The first step in this direction is the launch of the most popular routes, which will be continually expanded if the project is successful. Serhiy Smus particularly noted Poland as a potential foreign destination.
In expanding bus transportation, Uklon is collaborating with the company Gunsel, which, in partnership with Mastercard, has revived the Uklon Ski Bus transfer from Kyiv to Bukovel.
According to reports, the Ukrainian bus transportation market has nearly tripled to UAH 7 billion. Currently, 3027 companies have licenses for international transportation, while around 800 actually transport passengers abroad.
