Ukraine prepares roadmaps for negotiation chapters on EU accession.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna stated that the government positively evaluates the European Commission's enlargement report and is preparing to present roadmaps for negotiations on EU accession by the end of the year.
At the beginning of 2025, the European Commission recommends opening negotiation clusters regarding Ukraine's accession to the EU. Stefanishyna expressed a positive attitude towards the report with certain remarks and hopes for a joint decision and roadmaps with the European Union regarding reforms of the legal system, democratic institutions, and public administration.
Negotiations between Ukraine and the EU on accession are divided into 35 chapters, which are opened sequentially.
