Ukraine Strengthens Its Delegation for Abu Dhabi Negotiations
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine has expanded its delegation for upcoming talks in Abu Dhabi, incorporating senior figures from its military, intelligence, and diplomatic services. These discussions are part of a trilateral dialogue involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.
Key Members of the Delegation
Rustem Umerov has been appointed to lead the delegation. Its members include:
- Vadym Skibitskyi
- Kyrylo Budanov
- David Arakhamia
- General Andrii Hnatov
- Sergiy Kyslytsya
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that broadening the team's composition is a crucial step for the talks' success: 'Our team will be there in Abu Dhabi. I have expanded the team. Of course, the head of the delegation will be Rustem Umerov, there will be Kyrylo Budanov, there will be David Arakhamia, and there will definitely be General Andrii Hnatov.'
The President also stressed the importance of including military and intelligence representatives in the negotiation process, requesting that Skibitskyi accompany Hnatov. 'There will also be diplomats - Mr. Kyslytsya will be there, and several other people will be present,' Zelenskyy added. The date for the President's communication with journalists is scheduled for January 23.
The delegation's expansion signals Ukraine's serious intent to pursue diplomatic solutions amid the ongoing conflict. The inclusion of military and intelligence officials underscores a comprehensive approach, addressing both security and political dimensions.
