Sergey Olegovich Kislytsia - Ukrainian diplomat, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations (since February 2020).
Place of Birth. Education. Born on August 15, 1969, in Kyiv. Graduate of the Faculty of International Law of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English, Spanish, and French.
Career. In 1992, he began his work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as an intern in the European Regional Cooperation Department of the Ministry, where he transitioned to the position of attaché and then third secretary in 1993.
From 2001 to 2003 - Advisor on political issues at the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.
From 2003 to 2005 - Minister-Counselor (political issues) at the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.
In 2006, he returned to Ukraine as Deputy Director of the Second Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (countries of America and Western Europe).
From 2006 to 2014 - Director of the Department of International Organizations (until November 2011 - Department of the United Nations and other international organizations) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Member of the Ukrainian delegation at the 62nd-72nd sessions of the United Nations General Assembly.
From 2006 to 2011 - Member of the Steering Committee of the Council of Europe on Gender Equality (since 2011, member of the Bureau of the Steering Committee).
From 2012 to 2014 - Deputy Chair of the Council of Europe Commission on Gender Equality.
From 2014 to 2015 - Co-chair of the Working Group on the Development of the National Human Rights Strategy Project.
From 2014 to 2015 - Deputy Chair of the Interministerial Commission on the Policy of Military-Technical Cooperation and Export Control.

On December 19, 2019, he was appointed Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations.
On February 20, 2020, he presented his credentials to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and from that moment he officially received the powers of the Ukrainian representative at the United Nations.
From 2020 to 2021 - Deputy Chair of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
Since June 17, 2021 - Ambassador of Ukraine to Trinidad and Tobago. Since June 17, 2021 - Ambassador of Ukraine to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
Diplomatic Title. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador.
Awards. Order for Merit III class (December 22, 2021).
