According to UATV: On February 9, a Letter of Intent for the joint production of armaments was signed by Ukrainian Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov and French Minister of the Armed Forces, Catherine Vautrin. The meeting also covered the potential transfer of additional Mirage fighter jets to Ukraine, which would significantly enhance its air force capabilities. Key priorities for defense cooperation were discussed, including the supply of:

• SAMP/T air defense systems
• Mistral portable missile systems
• Crotale short-range surface-to-air missiles
• ammunition for these systems
• Aster and SCALP missiles
