Germany will allocate 9 billion euros to Ukraine: details of the new agreement.
According to inkorr.com: Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal met with representatives of military structures in Germany. During the discussion, they talked about the possibilities of joint development of production with German companies as well as the implementation of projects within the framework of the Build with Ukraine initiative.
'I thanked Germany for its strong support in the security sector. I emphasized the importance of providing Patriot systems and the personal contribution of the general to this process. I also expressed my gratitude for the announced 9 billion euros in aid, which will be allocated annually, and the contribution of 300 million euros for the development of long-range drone production,' Shmyhal highlighted.
Achievements and Reforms
During the meeting, they also discussed the achievements made during conversations with the German defense minister, as well as reforms in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Shmyhal focused on Ukraine's efforts to bring military standards closer to NATO standards in cooperation with partners and thanked Germany for its readiness to respond to various challenges and for deepening defense cooperation.
Joint Production
Within the framework of the meeting, Ukraine and Germany discussed opportunities for joint production and implementation of projects in the defense sector.
