Ukraine and the USA discuss next steps for peace: what we know about the negotiations.
Peace negotiations in Ukraine
According to ТСН: Ukrainian Ambassador to the USA Olga Stefanishina emphasized that both Kyiv and Washington are focused on achieving significant results in negotiations to end the war and establish a just and stable peace. She made this statement during hearings in the US Senate dedicated to the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russia.
According to her, the Ukrainian side has fulfilled all possible commitments that could help advance the peace process. An active dialogue is being established with American partners regarding potential agreements in the future.
“Currently, we are discussing the next steps after the meeting in Moscow, as well as potential further actions. There is not much progress, but the process continues,” noted Stefanishina.
Let us remind you that it became known earlier about the planned meeting of Witkoff and Kushner with Umerov in Miami on December 4, which will continue the negotiations.
This information underscores the importance of continuing dialogue between the two countries, as peace negotiations remain relevant. Both sides recognize that stable peace can only be achieved through constructive exchange of ideas and commitments.
