Ukraine offered Europe to replace Russian titanium and uranium with its own reserves.
The government of Ukraine is proposing cooperation with the European Union in the extraction of rare metals such as uranium, lithium, and titanium. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in an interview with Politico.
It was noted that Ukraine's accession to the EU would lead to an expansion of the Union's borders and strengthening its security thanks to a powerful army. Moreover, Ukraine's economic potential is an important argument for European partners. 'Ukraine has the largest reserves of 30 critical mineral resources and is a leader in uranium reserves in Europe,' emphasized Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine can not only meet its needs for uranium but also export it to the EU, especially considering the growing demand for nuclear energy.
