Ukrainians reminded who can get free dental treatment: over 300 clinics.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, together with the National Health Service, has implemented a free prosthodontics project for military personnel and veterans in 23 regions of the country.
During its implementation, over 4,000 patients underwent dental treatment, and more than 3,000 received prosthodontics services. A total of 42 million hryvnias has been allocated for this, including 30 million for prosthodontics and 12 million for dental treatment.
"Taking care of the health of our defenders and creating decent conditions for their comfortable life is a task that we systematically and consistently implement in the government," said Health Minister Viktor Lyashko.
332 medical institutions across the country have joined the program. The most healthcare institutions with signed contracts are located in the Poltava, Kharkiv, and Ternopil regions.
The program provides for free prosthodontics with a maximum cost of 14,984 hryvnias and dental treatment up to 24,952 hryvnias. Participants in combat operations, war veterans, people with war-related disabilities, and military personnel carrying out combat missions can use this assistance.
To receive the service, you need a referral from a dentist and an application with documents confirming the status of a military service member or veteran.
There are also 1.3 million veterans in Ukraine who receive assistance.
