Ukraine changes the mechanism of support for parents of newborns

The Federation of Trade Unions in Ukraine reported that there will be changes in the mechanism of providing social support to families with newborns. Starting from 2025, the 'Baby Package' program will become permanent, allowing parents to regularly receive assistance.

Previously, the 'Baby Package' was introduced in experimental mode from 2020 to 2024. Now this program will become permanent, and parents will be able to receive funds to their current accounts. For this, they must have an account in a bank that has agreed to join this program.

It should be noted that the 'Baby Package' is a special set provided to Ukrainian parents of newborn children.

According to the document, the State Service for Children will publish a list of authorized banks with which cooperation agreements have been made. Information can be found on the official website of the service.

The Baby Package is intended to provide support to parents in the first months of the child's life. This financial assistance is one-time and is used to purchase goods for children, such as care products, clothing, food, toys, and textile products.
