Ukrainian with an incurable heart disease fulfilled his dream: the story of a unique transplantation.
According to inkorr.com: At the age of 16, a Cherkasy resident Vladislav Hutnyk was diagnosed with an incurable heart disease. To save him, a transplant was needed, but at that time this procedure was not performed in Ukraine. As a result, Vladislav went to India for the operation. The information is provided by 'Glavcom', citing 'Suspilne'.
All important steps regarding his health were taken by Vladislav together with his mother.
“My legs were swollen, they were so big, my arms. When I went to the hospital, I weighed 65 kilograms and lost to 53 there, they drained fluids from me because I was so swollen. Since then, after the operation, my height increased, weight has risen and my beard grew, everything is fine,” Vladislav himself recounted.
After he went through the queue in India and numerous challenges, Vladislav was able to maintain his health at an adequate level after the operation. Today, he lives a full life, filled with hope for the future and with a restored heart.
