Women with disabilities can receive 5 thousand dollars: how to apply by August 15.

All women who are interested have the opportunity to apply for a grant of nearly 5 thousand dollars by August 15, 2025. This project is being implemented by the NGO Fight For Right (Struggle for Rights), as reported in the organization's press center on their Facebook page.

Conditions for receiving the grant

The 'Strengthening' program is designed for women with disabilities and activists who intend to make Ukraine more friendly for people with special needs. Participants are provided support through mentoring at all stages and the opportunity to develop leadership potential. Ten grants of 200 thousand hryvnias are designated for bold initiatives. Funding will be received in September - October and in December - January.

• Increasing the visibility of women with disabilities in communities
• Addressing issues faced by women with disabilities
• Protecting the rights of female veterans with disabilities and women who participated in hostilities
• Cooperation with authorities to protect the rights of persons with disabilities

How to apply for the grant

Applicants can submit their applications by August 15, 2025, by filling out a special online form. If a legal entity participates in the competition, it must provide personal data, an extract from the EDR, the organization’s charter, and a decision to include it in the register of non-profit organizations. The program is funded by the 'Women's Peace Fund' and the humanitarian assistance of the Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund of the UN (WPHF).

This month, the possibility of receiving support from the humanitarian fund for Ukraine (UHF) was announced, as well as participation in the REMARKET program for business development.
