Units of the Russian airborne troops tried to attack Ukrainian paratroopers in the Kursk region. However, within a few hours, Ukrainian soldiers repelled the assault and destroyed the enemy's equipment and personnel. This was reported by the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian forces used 14 pieces of military equipment, including tanks, airborne combat vehicles, and armored personnel carriers, to attack the Ukrainian paratroopers.

Ukrainian paratroopers did not allow the Russians to break through their defense. Within a few hours, they destroyed five airborne combat vehicles, a tank, and an enemy armored personnel carrier.

In addition, the Russian military losses amounted to several dozen people. The rest of the Russian soldiers left the battlefield.

During the Kursk operation, Ukrainian forces captured two more settlements on the territory of the aggressor state.

On September 14, it became known that Ukrainian troops successfully broke through the Russian defense on another section of the border in the Kursk region and penetrated several kilometers into Russian territory.

According to President Zelensky, Ukraine anticipated the actions of the Russians in the Kursk region. He also noted that the Russians began counteroffensive actions, implementing the Ukrainian plan.

Vladimir Putin ordered the expulsion of the Ukrainian army from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation by October 1.

DeepState analysts note that the situation on the left flank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region has worsened due to active assault actions by Russian troops.
