The School Package Program to be Expanded: Books to be Added to the Set
The state program 'School Package' will be expanded - in addition to stationery, clothing, and footwear, it will now include books. Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin announced this, noting that the changes will take effect within the next three weeks.

According to inkorr.com: According to the minister, Ukrainians are actively applying for this assistance. As of September 2, nearly 128,000 applications have been submitted, of which 122,000 were processed through the 'Diia' app. Uliutin emphasized that more and more people are choosing the online format.

As part of the first funding, support has already been received by 86,000 families for a total amount of 430 million hryvnias, which is 35% of the planned budget funds. About 18,000 families are waiting for payments in the near future.

The ministry recorded over 3,000 cases of refusals due to non-compliance with the program conditions. 'Parents should not worry - they can reapply and receive assistance. Most refusals are related to incorrect data in the system or, for example, because the child has been transferred to another educational institution. After updating the data, you should wait two days before applying again,' the minister explained.

Impact of the Program on the Subsidy Amount

It should also be noted that the 'School Package' program will affect the amount of subsidy.

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine is expanding the 'School Package' program by adding books to the list of support. This will allow an even greater number of families to receive everything necessary for their children's education. Applications for participation in the program can be submitted online through the 'Diia' app, making the process of receiving assistance more convenient. The ministry is actively analyzing the response to previous payments and responding to citizens' complaints, striving to ensure maximum coverage of the program and comfort for its users.

Thanks to this expansion, Ukrainian children will receive greater support in preparing for the school year. The addition of books to the program will be an important step in ensuring equal access to education for all children, regardless of their financial situation. The ministry hopes that this will contribute to improving the level of education in the country and create a healthy foundation for learning.
