Ukraine is facing a storm: which regions have declared a yellow danger level.
Weather in Ukraine: strong winds and rains in the Right Bank
According to inkorr.com: On October 24, strong wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in the Right Bank of Ukraine, and up to 25 m/s in the highlands of the Carpathians. Significant rains are expected in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians. A yellow danger level has been announced. This is reported by
'Glavkom'referring to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Forecasters note that such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, utility, and construction enterprises and affect transport movement.
Forecast for Kyiv
On October 24, gusts of wind of 15-20 m/s are also expected in Kyiv (yellow danger level). According to preliminary forecasts, it will be cloudy in the capital, with no precipitation, but rain is possible in the evening. The wind will be southeast at 7-12 m/s. The night temperature will be 8-10°C, during the day – 13-15°C.
It is also worth noting that Western European countries are preparing for a severe storm known as
'bomb cyclone'or
'meteorological bomb'. This dangerous meteorological phenomenon, caused by a sharp drop in atmospheric pressure, can lead to gale-force winds, heavy rains, and serious transport problems on the continent.
Throughout this week, variable and unstable autumn weather will persist in Ukraine. Early in the week, cooling and rains, including wet snow, are expected, especially in the west and north, with nighttime frosts in some regions. Closer to the weekend, the temperature will rise slightly, especially in the south.
This information about the weather conditions in Ukraine is easily perceived. Meteorologists' warnings about potential complications in the work of enterprises and transport due to the storm contribute to increasing public awareness of the risks associated with the weather.
