Attack on Zhytomyr region: Ukrzaliznytsia canceled suburban trains.
According to ТСН: In the Zhytomyr region, after the night attack on January 11, there were problems with transportation and energy infrastructure.
Due to damage to the railway infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region, additional time will be needed to restore movement. Therefore, on January 12, the operation of two morning suburban trains was temporarily canceled:
№6480 Olevsk — Korosten (departure at 04:47)
№6481 Korosten — Olevsk (departure at 09:48)
Ukrzaliznytsia recommends passengers to take changes in the schedule into account when planning trips and, if possible, choose alternative means of transport within the Korosten community.
It was also previously reported that over 60 trains of Ukrzaliznytsia in Ukraine are running with delays due to bad weather, border issues, and security measures.
Let us recall that on the night of January 11, Russian troops again attacked critical infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr region, resulting in several injuries.
This situation highlights the importance of safety and stability of the transport network in wartime conditions. Authorities and transport services are working to restore normal functioning to ensure a comfortable travel experience for passengers.
