Recovery after the attacks in Kyiv and the region
According to Novyny.live: Recovery is ongoing in Kyiv and the region after Russian attacks that caused problems with electricity, heating, and water supply. To support the population, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched resilience carriages where everyone can find warmth and a chance to charge their devices.
Resilience carriages
The resilience carriages are located in:
- Brovary
- Fastiv
- Vasylkiv
- Boryspil
They operate daily from 08:00 to 20:00, providing comfortable conditions for visitors. The carriages are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, children's compartments, blankets, pillows, as well as water and food for pets. Residents of Brovary can visit these carriages throughout the day from 11:00 to 17:00.
According to Serhii, one of the employees of the carriages, there is a buffet carriage and two ordinary compartment carriages converted for accommodating people. Here everyone can charge their devices.
“The carriages are warm, we provide heating around the clock. Anyone who wants can use a blanket,” Serhii noted. He also emphasized that people can come with their pets to warm up and recharge their gadgets.
Free hot tea is provided to all visitors, adding even more comfort during this challenging time. The opening of resilience carriages has become an important step in supporting the population amid the energy crisis and ensuring basic needs for comfort and warmth.
The resilience carriage is part of the efforts by the Ukrainian government and organizations aimed at supporting the population during difficult conditions caused by the war. In such situations, it is crucial to ensure access to basic needs such as warmth, electricity, and comfort, which helps people feel supported in tough times. The opening of such places indicates the country's readiness to respond to challenges and ensure safety and comfort for its citizens.
