Russian drones strike a children's center in Sumy
In the evening of January 12, drones from Russia attacked a children's rehabilitation center (CRC) in Sumy, causing a fire. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Sumy region (GES in the Sumy region) and on the Telegram channel of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the attack, the residential sector of the city was also affected.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Rescuers had to work simultaneously at several addresses.
«The fire centers have been extinguished. The areas that were attacked have been surveyed», - reported the rescuers.
The State Emergency Service showed video and photos of the aftermath of the attack on Sumy.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the fire at the CRC of the Sumy community was caused by the debris of a Russian drone.
«Currently, there are no casualties. All necessary services are working at the scene. An investigation into the aftermath of the attack is underway», - stated in the message.
Recall that as a result of the airstrike by Russian troops on a five-story building in the village of Sv esa in the Sumy region, the number of injured has risen to 10, including two children. At 10:30 PM, rescuers completed emergency rescue operations at the site of the airstrike.
In addition, as a result of attacks by enemy drones on Zaporizhzhia, two people were also injured.
