The government submitted a draft law on individual heat points to the Rada: what will change for residents.
According to inkorr.com: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada that provides for the installation of individual heat points in houses connected to centralized heating networks. The main goal of this initiative is to improve the quality of heat supply and reduce costs for the enterprises that provide it.
What are individual heat points?
Individual heat points are specialized equipment that allows for the regulation of heat and hot water supply in a building. Their installation will promote more efficient use of thermal energy and provide more comfortable living conditions for residents.
Plans for implementing individual heat points
The costs for individual heat points will be reflected in the heat energy tariff, and their maintenance will be assigned to specialized organizations. New heating supply rules will also be introduced, procedures for their installation and maintenance will be developed, as well as standard contracts.
It should be noted that due to military actions, part of the heating systems in Kyiv have been damaged. This year, many residents may be left without centralized heating supply, forcing them to seek alternative heating sources.
Heating supply issues in residential complexes
A lack of heat in residential complexes forces residents to look for other heating methods, including using electric heaters. Experts urge the government to take measures to compensate for electricity costs for those affected by the reduction in heating supply.
The implementation of individual heat points aims to improve heating supply conditions for residents and reduce costs for enterprises involved in heat production. This draft law is an important step towards modernizing infrastructure and enhancing the comfort of life for Ukrainians, especially in the face of modern challenges.
