'As part of the President of Ukraine's program '1000 hours of Ukrainian content', funds will be allocated from the state budget for the creation of Ukrainian content for various age groups next year. An amount of 4 billion hryvnias is proposed for these purposes. This is a significant amount of money that will pose serious challenges to the industry. We are talking about diverse content - from feature films to animated films and YouTube videos,' said Member of Parliament Yevheniya Kravchuk.

Focus on children and youth

According to the MP, special attention will be given to content for children, for which the state will cover all expenses without the participation of producers. She emphasized that young people consume content in various formats, primarily through YouTube videos and short clips on social networks, so it is important to create an interesting and useful product. It was also proposed to add the possibility of translating popular games into Ukrainian to the list of funded content.
