Every day at 9 in the morning, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Anastasia Kravchuk.

On October 21, while on military duty, combat medic of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade Anastasia Kravchuk passed away due to complications of her health condition. This was reported by the head of the Tetiiv City Territorial Community in the Kyiv region, Bohdan Balagura.

«The tragic news shook us! Anastasia Kravchuk, the wife of Yevhen Kravchuk, a warrior who has been in captivity for almost three years, died in the war» - he said.

The Kozeltsi village council in the Chernihiv region stated that Anastasia died on October 21, 2024, due to complications of her health condition during military service.

Anastasia was born on May 5, 1997, in the village of Lykholitky. She studied at the Kozeltsi General Education School №3. After finishing school, she entered Kyiv Medical College №3 and obtained the specialty of «Nurse».

She worked at the Kozeltsi Central District Hospital. Later, in the clinical hospital «Feofania» of the State Administration of Affairs of Ukraine.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Anastasia engaged in volunteer work. She provided voluntary assistance to the residents of Kherson, Nova Kakhovka, and other settlements where help was needed.

Since 2023, she worked as an operating room nurse at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv. In early February 2024, she volunteered to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the information on Anastasia's page, she served as a senior combat medic in the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush.

We remember those killed by Russian invaders, light candles of memory, and bow our heads in mourning during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of Ukrainian citizens who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military, civilians, and children, all who died fighting against Russian occupants and as a result of enemy forces' attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
