The government allocated 2.5 billion UAH for new housing for 1600 families: program details.
According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine has allocated another 2.5 billion UAH for the 'eRecovery' program, which will be spent on housing certificates. This initiative will help over 1600 families who lost their homes due to Russian aggression to acquire new housing.
'We continue to support Ukrainian families who have lost their homes due to the war. Each certificate is an opportunity for people to regain their home. Despite the full-scale Russian aggression, we must ensure such support systematically, transparently, and in close cooperation with international partners,'stated Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
The financing of certificates will be carried out from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. Within the framework of the 'eRecovery' program, more than 143 thousand families have already received compensation totaling about 50 billion UAH. In addition, more than 116 thousand families have received financing for the restoration of damaged housing, amounting to over 11 billion UAH.
The additional allocation of funds for housing certificates will contribute to the restoration of homes for affected families who suffered from Russian aggression. The 'eRecovery' program continues to provide systematic support along with international partners.
This support is an important step in restoring living conditions for those who have suffered the most from the war. The increase in funding for housing certificates indicates the government's intention to continue working in this area and strengthen cooperation with international partners for the fastest possible restoration of territories affected by aggression.
