Launch of the long-term medical care project for veterans
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, an initiative for long-term medical care for veterans is starting. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has announced this project, which collaborates with the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service of Ukraine. The main goal is to expand the capabilities of medical institutions in providing long-term care services.
Long-term medical care services will be provided to patients with low functional status, determined by the Barthel scale, at a level of 30 points or less. The cost of such services varies depending on the level of patient dependence: for individuals with a high level of dependence – 5,452.52 hryvnias, and for those with a moderate level – 3,484.30 hryvnias.
This initiative aims to improve the quality of life for veterans who need constant medical, rehabilitation, and social support by providing them access to the necessary services and care.
A new long-term medical care project for veterans has been presented, which will help improve the quality of life and provide proper support for those in need.
The launch of such a project is an important step towards improving medical services in Ukraine and ensuring a dignified life for veterans.
