Honored lawyer of Ukraine Volodymyr Pylypenko stated that citizens have the right to video record TCC employees. According to him, the law does not prohibit this type of video recording.

This was announced by him in the program 'Evening.LIVE' aired on Monday, August 11.

Lawyer Volodymyr Pylypenko believes that the new initiative is beneficial as it will promote discipline among TCC employees and citizens. Regular people will also have the opportunity to record potential violations.

'If we are talking about certain violations that may have legal consequences, sometimes even criminal liability... Such cases have already occurred. Why should a person be restricted in recording a crime? Nothing',

Let us remind you that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced that starting from September 1, all TCC employees must wear body cameras for video recording during document checks and serving summons.

Earlier, lawyer Yuriy Turovets explained for what purposes the TCC would use body cameras. He noted that video materials would serve as evidence in case of any complaints.

Ukrainian lawyer Volodymyr Pylypenko stated that citizens have the right to video record TCC employees, emphasizing that this will contribute to greater discipline and the ability to record potential violations.
