Who is entitled to financial assistance from UNHCR
'Cash assistance from UNHCR is a one-time payment of 3600 UAH monthly per person for 3 months,' the message states.
Citizens will be able to receive payments from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees under the following conditions:
- if the internally displaced persons relocated within six months and have not received similar cash assistance from other organizations in the previous three months;
- if the refugees who left for abroad since the beginning of the full-scale war have now returned home and have not received similar support from other organizations in the last three months.
Cash assistance will be available only to those citizens who can officially prove their difficult financial situation. According to the program's rules, the income per family member must not exceed 5400 UAH per month.
How to register for assistance in Zaporizhia
Registration for queuing in Zaporizhia is based on filling out a special online form.
'After filling out the form, if you and your family members meet the conditions and criteria of the UNHCR cash assistance program, our operators will contact you to clarify information and set an appointment time and date for your visit to our office', UNHCR representatives explained.
