A giant installation of 448 pyramids has appeared in Abu Dhabi: what it looks like.

In the capital of the UAE, on Fahid Island, there is an incredible installation of 448 pyramids forming the shape of the sun, known as Self Similar. This work is by the famous American artist Jim Denevan. The area of this installation is one square kilometer, and the tallest pyramid is 27 meters high.

The pyramids create an impressive mandala pattern that can be observed from two observation decks. It looks especially beautiful in the evening - at sunset, the installation transforms into a magical light show.
