Russian drones attacked the Kirovohrad region
On the night of January 11, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine using drones. As a result of this attack, power grids and houses in the Kirovohrad region were damaged. This was reported by the head of the Kirovohrad OVA Andriy Raikovych on Telegram.
«The enemy does not cease the terror of our peaceful towns and villages with drones. In Kirovohrad region, the sky defenders worked hard. The Alexander community recorded damage to windows and roofs in several private houses. It also affected the power line support,» it is mentioned in the message.
It is also reported that a local REM team has started to restore the damaged power grids.
Fortunately, there are no casualties from this incident.
Let us remind you that Russian invaders attacked Ukraine on January 11 with the help of 74 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones of various types.
It is noted that the drones were launched from Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Currently, since the beginning of the war, the downing of 47 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of drones in various regions of Ukraine has been confirmed.
