On December 3, a yellow level of danger is declared in Ukraine: thick fog will engulf the country.
According to ТСН: On December 3, dangerous weather phenomena are expected in Ukraine. In the first half of the day, a significant part of the country's territory will be engulfed by thick fog, leading to the declaration of the first level of danger.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, fog with visibility of 200-500 m is expected in the northern, central, and southern regions, as well as in Transcarpathia and the Carpathian region.
These weather conditions may complicate transportation operations and reduce road safety.
Weather Forecast
On December 3, warm weather will remain in Ukraine with no significant changes. Cloudy skies with local light rain (except for the western regions) and fogs (in Transcarpathia, in the Carpathians, central and southern regions) are expected. Daytime temperatures will range from +3 to +8°C, while in the south, it will be from +7 to +12°C. In Kyiv and the region, cloudy weather with light rain is also forecasted, with temperatures ranging from +4 to +6°C.
Considering the forecast, drivers should be especially cautious on the roads, as reduced visibility due to fog may lead to dangerous situations. It is recommended to avoid unnecessary trips during the morning hours and to adhere to safe speed limits.
