On October 15, cloudy weather with clearings is expected in Ukraine, while some regions may experience light rain. In general, significant precipitation is not forecasted, but light rain may occur in the northeast during the day. In Transcarpathia, fogs may occur at night and in the morning.
This week, usual autumn weather with moderate daytime temperatures and cool nights will prevail in most regions of Ukraine. Significant precipitation is not anticipated; however, there may be light rains in the west and north, as well as the first night frosts.
As reported, according to observations from the United Hydrometeorological Station in Kyiv, meteorological autumn arrived in the capital on September 24, which started a week later than the climatic norm.
The meteorologists' warning about possible ground frosts in certain regions of Ukraine indicates the arrival of the autumn period and the importance of preparing agricultural lands for adverse weather conditions.
With the approach of the colder time of year, farmers should take these forecasted frosts into account in order to prepare their plants and harvests in time for potential negative weather impacts. This is important for preserving future yields and the stability of agriculture. Consumers should also be cautious with products that may be affected by frosts.
