The Ukrainian Oscar committee announced that the deadline for submitting applications for selection for the 98th Oscar has been extended to August 11, 2025. The Ukrainian Film Academy is looking for the best international feature film from our country.
Films submitted for consideration must have a duration of at least 40 minutes and be filmed outside of the USA with predominantly non-English language used. Thus, Ukrainian filmmakers have the opportunity to showcase their masterpieces to a global audience and compete for this prestigious award.
It should be noted that the film 'Porcelain War' by directors Brendan Bell and Slava Leontyev did not win in the category 'Best Feature Documentary' at the 97th Oscar ceremony.
