In Odesa and Kharkiv, properties of Wagner militants identified: details of the arrest.
Discovery of properties belonging to Wagner PMC militants
According to ТСН: In Odesa and Kharkiv regions, law enforcement agencies discovered properties owned by participants of the Russian private military company 'Wagner'. These include apartments, residential buildings, and plots of land.
'At the request of prosecutors, restrictions have been placed on properties belonging to individuals involved in the activities of the private military company militants,' the statement said.
Additionally, assets related to the activities of the PMC 'Redut' have been transferred to the management of ARMA. In particular, a commercial space of 500 m² and a plot of land worth over 2 million UAH have been seized.
The property seizure measures were carried out by investigators of the Main Investigation Department and operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
'The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Prosecutorial bodies continue to ensure the preservation of assets and take measures to block property related to participants of private military formations,' the Office of the Prosecutor General emphasized.
It is also worth noting that earlier British intelligence reported on the fate of the 'Wagner' group, which played a significant role in the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine.
The discovered properties are of great importance for ensuring law and order and combating illegal structures that conduct aggressive actions against Ukraine. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway with the aim not only of blocking assets but also of holding accountable individuals involved in war crimes.
