Emergency Power Outages: New Schedules Introduced in Three Regions

According to ТСН: On Wednesday, several regions canceled the electricity outage schedules. However, in three regions, emergency power outages were implemented due to shelling.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, Russian troops again attacked the energy infrastructure of the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, which necessitated emergency recovery work.

“To stabilize the situation in the energy system, emergency outages have been applied in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions,” the Ministry of Energy emphasized.

Sumy Region

In the Sumy region, following the instructions of NEC 'Ukrenergo', emergency outage schedules for 1-5 shifts have been introduced. This was reported by 'Sumioblenergo'. Energy workers noted that these shifts do not coincide with hourly schedules.

Kharkiv Region

Energy workers in the Kharkiv region urged residents to reduce electricity consumption.

Poltava Region

Oblenergo reported that from 00:00 a schedule for emergency electricity outages has also been implemented in the region due to the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities.

At the same time, 'Ukrenergo' clarified that consumption restriction measures are in place in all regions of Ukraine: hourly outages of 0.5 to 2.5 shifts, as well as power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses.

It is reminded that the evening before, 'Ukrenergo' introduced light outage schedules, which will be effective from 00:00 to 23:59 — with a volume from 0.5 to 2.5 shifts.

Thus, the situation with electricity supply in Ukraine continues to remain complex. Emergency outages are a result of attacks on strategic facilities, which emphasizes the importance of energy stability in wartime conditions. Residents of regions where outages have been implemented should closely follow the recommendations of energy workers to reduce the load on the power grid.
