The 'From Experience' Program
According to Novyny.live: A new initiative called 'From Experience' has been launched in Ukraine, designed for active-duty soldiers and veterans who wish to become instructors. This program creates significant professional development opportunities for those with combat experience, allowing them to apply their skills in various training fields.
Training Specializations
The program offers instruction in several key areas, including:
- Tactical medicine,
- Engineering,
- Topography,
- Tactical and firearms training.
Participants will receive financial support of up to 51,000 Ukrainian hryvnias, providing substantial assistance for those who join. They are also entitled to annual leave and family leave, helping them balance professional duties with personal life. This initiative is part of broader efforts to professionalize Ukraine's armed forces and retain valuable expertise.
Joining the 'From Experience' project requires candidates to pass a multi-stage selection process. Applicants must submit their details and then undergo three interview stages followed by a trial period. This rigorous procedure ensures the selection of high-quality candidates prepared to teach others effectively.
Participating training institutions include the General Military Training School, the Instructor Training School, and the Colonel Yevhen Konovalets Military School. The 'From Experience' program not only helps soldiers and veterans enhance their own skills but also empowers them to shape the training of new generations of military personnel.
Key benefits for program participants are:
- Advanced training,
- Professional development,
- Meaningful influence,
- Schedule flexibility,
- Financial support and leave entitlements.
This project represents a major step in developing Ukraine's instructor corps, providing military personnel and veterans with new avenues to realize their potential.
The 'From Experience' initiative has the potential not only to improve military training standards but also to strengthen the bond between seasoned veterans and the younger soldiers beginning their service.
This transfer of real-world knowledge from those who have seen combat to new instructors is expected to raise the overall proficiency level within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
