According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian actor Vyacheslav Khostikoiev has expressed deep concern over losing all contact with his cousin, Antonina Paperna, who lives in Russia, since the start of the war in Ukraine. Despite his repeated attempts to reach her, he has received no response.

“Unfortunately, we are not in communication. Although I would very much like to be,” the actor stated.

Antonina Paperna is the eldest daughter of actress Olga Sumska. She married Russian actor Vladimir Yaglych in 2015, and the couple have two children together. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has left the relationship between Khostikoiev and Paperna in an uncertain state.

Khostikoiev emphasized that he has gotten no reply to his messages, which has been a source of worry for him.

“I tried writing to her. There was no answer,” the actor added.

The severed communication between relatives underscores how geopolitical conflicts can deeply impact personal relationships.
