Kyiv residents threw a party in a nightclub on the Day of Mourning for those killed by Russian aggression, as a result of which 31 people died on Thursday, July 31. Law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv police on Facebook on Saturday, August 2.

Law enforcement reported that they initiated an investigation after discovering a video of the party on social media. Since the doors were closed and the establishment's staff refused to open them at the request of law enforcement, the police conducted an urgent search, during which they found over 30 visitors and the club's administration in the premises,' the police stated.

The offenders face a fine or up to 15 days of administrative arrest. A probe has been launched into the party held on the Day of Mourning. It is worth noting that Russia struck a residential multi-storey building in Kyiv on July 31. The dismantling of the rubble in the Svyatoshyn district, where the rocket hit, lasted more than a day. As a result of the attack, 31 people died, and the building was completely destroyed. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko commented on the strike on the multi-storey building, considering it a direct hit. Additionally, it was mentioned that a correspondent from Novyny.LIVE visited the site and prepared a photo report on the consequences of the Russian strike. During the Day of Mourning for those killed by Russian aggression, over 30 individuals were detained for public disorder at a party in a club in Kyiv. Law enforcement has initiated an investigation into this incident.
