US Elections: Trump Claimed 'Fraud' in Philadelphia.
The US presidential candidate claimed mass fraud in the elections in Philadelphia. However, local police do not confirm the presence of voting issues that require their reaction.
According to CNN, Philadelphia police officials do not understand what exactly Trump was drawing attention to when he claimed 'mass fraud' in his post on the social network Truth Social.
There is a lot of talk about mass fraud in Philadelphia. - Donald Trump
Trump has for many years baselessly claimed election fraud in Philadelphia. He made similar accusations earlier, in September, during an event in Pennsylvania, but did not provide specific evidence.
Republican Party representative Seth Bluestein said on Tuesday that Trump's statements 'absolutely have no basis in truth' and called them 'disinformation.' He also added that voting in Philadelphia was safe.
District Attorney Larry Krasner also responded to Trump's fraud claim. He tweeted that the only talk of mass fraud comes from Trump himself and that law enforcement has no facts to support these allegations.
The prosecutor also asked Trump to provide evidence for his accusations.
Throughout the day, the district attorney's election service received about 55 complaints from voters. Most of the complaints concerned pre-election campaigning.
