A gas tanker exploded under an overpass on a highway in Mexico, causing a massive fire. As a result of the incident, three people died and 70 were injured. This was reported by Glavkom citing Associated Press.
According to inkorr.com: The exploded truck was carrying about 50 thousand liters of gasoline. Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada described this explosion as an 'emergency situation'. She noted that 18 vehicles were destroyed during the fire. All the injured were taken to hospitals in the city. The incident occurred on one of the main routes connecting Mexico City with the city of Puebla.
