Some situations require pensioners to provide a document confirming the amount of pension payments received over a specific period. Such a certificate may be needed when traveling abroad, and it can be obtained online.

What you need to know about the income certificate for pensioners

According to the Pension Fund, a document confirming the amount of pension payments received for a specific period may be required in certain cases:

  • when applying for utility benefits, social assistance;
  • to confirm the solvency of the citizen;
  • when submitting documents to the consulate.

Rules for remote application for the certificate

Ukrainians can obtain an income certificate in the following ways:

  • online on the PFU e-services web portal;
  • via the mobile application 'Pension Fund';
  • at the territorial body of the PFU.

Citizens can independently obtain the corresponding certificate in their personal account on the Pension Fund’s e-services portal.

In this case, it is necessary to have:

  • a qualified electronic signature (QES);
  • access to the internet.

On the PFU portal, the certificate can be issued according to a specific instruction:

  1. Click on the 'Login' option in the upper right corner of the screen;
  2. Authenticate using the qualified electronic signature (QES);
  3. In the 'Communication with PFU' section, select the 'Request for e-documents' option;
  4. Select the type of certificate you need (pensioner income certificate);
  5. Fill in all required fields of the form;
  6. Indicate the period for which the certificate needs to be generated;
  7. Give permission for the transfer and processing of personal data;
  8. Click the 'Send to PFU' button;
  9. Information about sending the corresponding message will appear on the screen;
  10. The result of the application processing will be available in the 'My Appeals' section.
