No Power Outages Scheduled for March 28: Best Time to Run High-Wattage Appliances.
Electricity Supply Update in Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: On Saturday, March 28, Ukraine will not implement hourly power cuts, though energy officials recommend using heavy electrical appliances between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. This guidance was confirmed by representatives from Ukrenergo, the national power grid operator.
For context, the previous day—March 27—some residents in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions remained without electricity due to enemy shelling. On March 26, blackouts were enforced in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions following Russian strikes on energy infrastructure. The most severe damage was recorded in Odesa and Chernihiv areas.
Challenges Facing the Energy Sector
Despite ongoing threats to the stability of the power supply, the energy sector continues to operate under challenging conditions. At present, the electricity situation shows signs of gradual improvement.
Ukraine’s electricity supply remains strained due to military hostilities affecting energy infrastructure. In light of recent attacks, energy workers urge the public to use electrical devices cautiously, especially during peak hours.
While stable power availability on this day may indicate a temporary improvement, risks persist. Citizens should remain prepared for potential changes in the electricity schedule in the near future.
