The most complicated situation with electricity in two regions: where emergency outages continue.
According to ТСН: Currently, the worst situation with electricity is observed in Chernihiv and Odesa regions, as well as in frontline areas.
Problems with electricity supply
Acting Head of the State Energy Regulatory Commission Anatoliy Zamulko noted that as of December 2, there are recorded problems with electricity supply in Chernihiv and Odesa regions.
“Certain networks have limited resources, and longer queues are applied for disconnection to carry out repair work,”he said.
Emergency outages can happen at any moment
Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions can also be subjected to emergency outages at any moment.
“Currently, all our frontline territories are indeed suffering from outages. But stabilization will definitely come. I think that we will enter those disconnections that we have planned for ourselves,”Zamulko emphasized.
Impact on Ukraine's energy sector
As reported by Ukrenergo, on the night of December 2, Russians struck at the energy infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. In the morning, power outages were already recorded in Odesa, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Throughout the day, electricity disconnection schedules have been introduced in all regions.
Possibility of cancellation of disconnection schedules
The head of the Ukrainian Renewable Energy Association Stanislav Ignatiev notes that electricity disconnection schedules can disappear only if Russia stops shelling the energy infrastructure. However, even in the event of new attacks, the situation may remain controlled.
Today's situation with electricity supply remains tense. Attacks on energy infrastructure make this issue extremely important. Authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant and follow recommendations for energy conservation. Restoring stability in the energy system depends not only on internal measures but also on international support for Ukraine in the context of ongoing aggression.
