Power outage on December 26: how the schedules will work.

Power will be turned off tomorrow for 15 hours

Tomorrow, December 26, power will be turned off for household consumers from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This is reported by 'Ukrenergo'.

Thus, the following schedules will apply for household consumers:

• 08:00 – 17:00 – one and a half queues of outages;
• 17:00 – 21:00 – one queue of outages.

For industry and business, the outage will be from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

'The reason for the temporary strengthening of restrictions is the damage to energy facilities due to a massive missile-drone attack on December 25', the message states.

It is noted that energy workers are working to restore the damaged equipment as soon as possible. The timing and scope of the restrictions may change during the day. Current information about the outage schedules can be found on the website or the official pages of the regional energy companies.

As a reminder, new outage schedules recommended by the Ministry of Energy have been in effect in Ukraine since December 16. The innovations will help to more accurately predict the outages, as well as reduce the number of consumers affected by power cuts.

It is noted that the shortest time interval that distribution system operators will work with will be 30 minutes. And for at least 3 hours and 30 minutes, users will have power in the white zones.
