Tomorrow, December 18, there will be power outages for both household consumers and businesses. This is reported by 'Ukrenergo'.

When there will be no power on December 18

Outages for household consumers:

  • 07:00 – 20:00 – half a shift of outages.

Outages for industry and businesses:

  • 07:00 – 20:00 – application of power limitation schedules.

The reason for the restrictions is the damage to power facilities due to three Russian missile-drone attacks in November-December, the press service reports.

'Currently, repair work is underway at energy facilities. Energy workers are working to restore the operation of damaged equipment as quickly as possible', the message says.

The press service of the company emphasizes that the volume of power restriction applications may vary throughout the day. 'Please use electricity sparingly when the power returns as scheduled,' advises 'Ukrenergo'.

Electricity outage schedules for your region can be viewed on the websites of local energy companies and DTEK.

Recall that from December 16, new outage schedules recommended by the Ministry of Energy came into effect in Ukraine. These innovations will allow for more accurate prediction of outages and reduce the number of powerless consumers.

From now on, the shortest Time interval that distribution system operators will work with will be 30 minutes. And for at least 3 hours and 30 minutes, there will be temporary restoration of electricity supply for some users.

Moreover, on December 17, no consumption restrictions are expected.

Information about mass attacks by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian energy facilities on December 13 is known. These attacks led to an increase in electricity consumption restrictions.
