Recall that on the night of Thursday, November 28, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine with 'Kalibr' missiles and X-101 rockets from Tu-95 planes. The energy sector and infrastructure facilities were under attack. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were left without electricity.
Also, 'Ukrenergo' showed damaged power plants as a result of Russian strikes. Currently, the situation in the energy sector is complex but controlled by 'Ukrenergo' dispatchers. The system has maintained and continues to maintain integrity.
By the way, Ukraine continues to reduce electricity import volumes despite increasing consumption and the introduction of restrictions for consumers. This was reported by ExPro Consulting market analyst Daria Orlova. According to her, in November 2024, electricity imports amounted to about 165 thousand MWh, which is 9% less compared to October.
