In Odesa region, a man was fined for avoiding military-medical examination: essence of the case.
A court trial took place in the Odesa region involving a man who refused to undergo a military-medical examination. According to the verdict of the Podilsk District Court, the draftee must pay a fine for avoiding military registration.
According to information from the Unified State Register of Judicial Decisions, a native of the village of Lypetske in the Kotovsk district refused to undergo a military-medical examination and drafted an appropriate act. The man was included in the criminal case for evasion of military registration.
Details of the case
After receiving a summons from the TCC, the draftee was taken to a medical facility for a military-medical examination. However, he refused the procedure, which led to the opening of a criminal case.
What the court decided
The court found the man guilty of evading military registration and imposed a fine of 5100 hryvnias (300 non-taxable minimum incomes).
Recently, there were also reports about a soldier who drove with weapons and psychotropic substances, as well as about the punishment of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a stabbing incident in Odesa's Arcadia.
In the court process in the Odesa region, the man who refused to undergo the military-medical examination was found guilty of evading military registration and obligated to pay a fine. The situation reflects the non-acceptance of evasion from military duties by Ukrainian legislation, which was resolved in court after the draftee refused to undergo the military medical commission.
