Deferral for those caring for relatives: how to extend it if it did not occur automatically.
Right to automatic extension of deferral from mobilization
According to Novyny.live: Citizens who provide constant care for a close relative have the right to automatic extension of the deferral from mobilization. However, if this does not occur, it is necessary to know what steps to take to resolve the situation. This issue has become relevant, especially for those who care for relatives with disabilities.
Steps to resolve the situation
One example is a citizen who cares for his father with a second group disability and turned to lawyers for consultation. Yuriy Ayvazyan, a lawyer, noted that in general, the deferral should be automatically extended. However, if after the expiration of the current deferral, a person does not see the date of the updated deferral, they will have two ways to resolve the issue:
- Submit a new application to the Center for Administrative Services (CAS).
- Make a request to the Territorial Center for Recruitment (TCR).
Yuriy Ayvazyan also added that in some cases, such requests can prompt the TCR to take action. Thus, it is important to know your rights and possibilities in order not to be left without proper support in difficult circumstances.
This situation emphasizes the importance of legal awareness among citizens who play the role of caregivers. Since the procedure for extending the deferral from mobilization may not always be clear, knowledge of the necessary actions and rights can significantly ease the lives of those who provide assistance to relatives with disabilities. Timely response to the absence of automatic extension of the deferral can affect the maintenance of law and order in these challenging social conditions.
