Access to permanent housing for service members will be determined by their length of service. Starting in 2026, military personnel will also have access to a preferential mortgage with an annual interest rate of just 3%. Furthermore, space allocations will be set as follows:

• 52.5 square meters of living space per service member;
• an additional 21 square meters for each family member.

Monthly rental compensation in cities during 2026 will be approximately 6,000 hryvnias. This is intended to significantly ease the financial burden for military personnel who do not own their own homes. The right to freely privatize state-provided housing one time is preserved for service members, underscoring the state's commitment to this group.
