Military can receive annual bonuses up to 400,000: details of the initiative.
According to inkorr.com: Senior Lieutenant Andriy Dytrenko, who has been serving at the front since 2022, proposed the introduction of an annual progressive reward for military personnel. In his petition, he emphasized the need to recognize those who consistently defend the country, noting that the state does not adequately appreciate their contribution.
Defenders who bear the heavy burden of war on their shoulders deserve gratitude and recognition
Dytrenko proposes to introduce an annual monetary reward for each year of service at the front, which will increase every year. The initial reward will be 50,000 hryvnias, and subsequent amounts: 100,000 for the second year, 200,000 for the third, and 400,000 for the fourth year. It is also planned to introduce the 'Cross of Long Duty' award, which will be presented to military personnel after each year of service and will be supplemented with new elements.
Creation of the Military Ombudsman Position
In addition, it became known that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved bill No. 13266, which provides for the creation of the Military Ombudsman position. This person will protect the rights of military personnel and others connected to the security and defense sector. 283 deputies voted for this initiative.
The senior lieutenant stresses the importance of systematic recognition of defenders and proposes a new Military Ombudsman position, which will help ensure the rights and interests of military personnel.
The introduction of a progressive reward and the creation of the Military Ombudsman position are important steps towards improving social support for military personnel. These initiatives could serve as a foundation for further developing the system of benefits and guarantees for those who give their health and lives for the defense of the country.
